We built Smart Text Back to be simple, affordable, and done-for-you. We handle the setup so you can focus on running your business.

What the Product Does

Smart Text Back automatically sends a text message when your business misses an incoming call. The caller receives the text from your existing business number within seconds, and can reply to continue the conversation. You receive a notification on your mobile app or web dashboard and can respond in real time — full two-way SMS.

The platform also includes review monitoring and replies, Facebook Messenger and Google Business Profile chat integration, and a mobile app for iOS and Android so you can manage conversations from anywhere.

What It Costs

Smart Text Back is $297 per month with a one-time $1,000 setup fee. The setup fee covers the full done-for-you configuration: conditional call forwarding, text-enablement of your existing number, custom message templates, and team onboarding.

SMS carrier usage charges apply on top of the monthly fee. These are billed at carrier rates and depend on your message volume. A business with 100 missed calls per month will have lower usage charges than one with 500. Current usage rates are available at any time.

What Setup Involves

After the one-time setup fee, our team handles the entire configuration:

They can reply to that text, and you receive a push notification on the Smart Text Back mobile app (iOS and Android) or web dashboard. You reply directly from either platform — it's full two-way SMS from your business number, so the caller never knows the difference.

All conversations are stored in a shared inbox, so your team can see the full history and jump in at any time. You can set different messages for business hours vs. after hours, and customize the wording to match your brand voice.

Conversation history, contact information, and message content are stored securely in the Smart Text Back platform. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

You can export your conversations and contacts at any time. If you cancel your subscription, your data is removed per our retention policy outlined in our Privacy Policy.
